I was on Facebook the other day and came across a post from Buzzfeed that caught my eye; 37 Books Every Creative Person Should Be Reading by Ashley Perez. Written in 2014, the list is jam-packed with books appealing to a wide variety of creative-types, from writing poetry to film editing. There are also many books on the list that examine the psychology of creativity and how to foster creativity in the business arena.
I briefly reviewed each book on Amazon and narrowed down the list to those that appeal to me as an individual. I also added a few related books that looked interesting. The books below are my personal list to check out. They can all be ordered from Amazon.com.
I’m curious if any of my fellow bloggers have read these? If so, what’s your opinion? Also, are there others that you would recommend?
Happy Reading!
I found The Artists Way quite helpful. The concept of ‘crazymakers’ helped me to learn more about myself and those around me (and the way our drama can impact upon, and block, each other’s creativity). Very helpful for personal self-development.
