I make art because I have to. It is through the creative process that I transcend the everyday and connect with my soul. Energy, power, control and focus are weighted by peace, calm, flow and intuition to achieve an internal sense of balance — my soul-state.
During this connected state I create bold and striking compositions using rich, vibrant colors. I use a variety of mediums and techniques to achieve my goals. My style of ‘modified’ Realism is inspired by the post-impressionists who experimented with color, line, and form while interjecting their internal emotions and soul into their creations.
No matter the subject, medium or technique, my ultimate goal is to — Preserve precious memories and passions; Create archival works of art that can be shared for and by generations and Foster a connection between artist, art, and viewer
